There is a quick sting as each row lifts, and it stops the moment the pass is done. Most clients find it more tolerable than waxing, especially on the sensitive skin under the arch. If you are sensitive, book for the week after your period rather than the days right before it.

I use a retinoid. Can I still get my brows done?

This is exactly why we thread rather than wax. Retinoids, acids, and recent peels or laser treatments thin the surface layer of the skin, and wax can lift that layer along with the hair. Threading grips hair only. Tell your provider what you are using and when you last used it, and we will confirm the right approach at your appointment.

How long do results last?

Because hair is removed from the follicle, most clients go two to four weeks between appointments. Regrowth comes in softer and finer over time.

How much hair do I need to have grown out?

About two weeks of growth gives the thread enough to grab. If the hairs are very short, we can shape what is there and get you back on schedule at your next visit.

Do you only do eyebrows?

Eyebrow threading is the service we offer. If you are looking for hair removal elsewhere on the face or body, ask us about laser hair removal at your visit.

Can I get this with another treatment?

Yes, and it is the most common way clients book it. We shape brows before a facial so the area is clean going in. If you are having a peel or a laser treatment, we will thread first and space the two appropriately.

The method matters on a brow

The skin around the brow bone is some of the thinnest on the face. Threading removes hair without pulling at that skin, which is why it is what we reach for here.

A cleaner line

Thread lifts hair out in rows rather than one at a time, so the arch is shaped as a single continuous edge instead of being chased hair by hair.

No wax, no heat, no chemicals

The only thing touching your skin is a length of cotton thread. Nothing is heated, nothing is applied, and nothing is left behind to react with.

Gentler on delicate skin

Wax grips the surface of the skin along with the hair. Thread grips only the hair, which is why threading is our default for the thin skin around the brow bone.

Precision at the fine hairs

Thread catches the short, soft hairs that wax and tweezers tend to miss, so the finished shape reads sharp from the front and soft up close.

For active skincare

Safe alongside the treatments you are already doing

Tretinoin, glycolic and salicylic acids, recent chemical peels, and laser resurfacing all leave the surface of your skin more fragile than it looks. Waxing over that can lift skin along with hair. Threading does not touch it.

What to expect

Shape mapping

We look at your brow bone, your natural growth pattern, and how you like to wear your brows. If you are growing an area back in, we build the shape around that plan instead of against it.

Threading

A twisted cotton thread rolls across the skin and lifts hair from the follicle. Most brows take about ten minutes. You will feel a quick sting that fades almost immediately.

Finish and soothe

We clean the area, apply a calming aloe or post-treatment gel, and check the shape with you in the mirror before you leave.
